How You Can Help

Monetary Donations

Monetary donations, especially recurring donations, make the largest continuous impact at our shelter.

Here’s what your money does for the shelter & pets:

  • Covers adoption fees, especially for our longer-term shelter residents.
  • Provides additional vet care as needed, like parvo treatments.
  • Pays for emergency medical costs beyond what the City can cover, including surgeries, amputations, and extended treatment of serious injuries.
  • Purchasing materials as needed (when they’re not donated or harder to procure), like specialty equipment, fence repairs, shade structures for our play yards, and other enrichment items.
  • Special grooming materials or services.
  • Rides to Rescue materials and services.

Material Donations

Donation of items needed DAILY at the shelter (e.g. pet food, bleach, litter).

We’ll take all food, treats, toys, collars, leashes and other materials for adoptions.

Please see our Amazon wishlist for our latest material needs at the shelter:

We also need plenty of special materials depending on our latest special projects and strategic initiatives to improve the shelter for ALL our pets.
