Foster an Animal
If you’re interested in fostering shelter animals, please fill out the contact form below:
Fosters provide a temporary home for pets in Holbrook Animal Control’s care while they are recovering or awaiting their forever home.
Fosters are typically needed for pregnant pets or recent post-partum dog or cat moms and their new litters, injured or sick animals, or animals at risk of declining due to kennel stress.
Staying out of the shelter environment for a couple days/weeks is crucial to the health of moms and her newborns, injured animals, or animals suffering in the shelter’s kennel environment (the shelter is a loud environment, parvo and other infectious diseases are likely with every new city pound intake).
We are in constant need of emergency fosters. Adding in your information below puts you on the contact list for those imminent/emergency needs here in Holbrook. If you aren’t in Holbrook, please use the message body to specify your location and add any pertinent information. Depending on funding, our shelter is typically able to provide the needed materials from whelping boxes or plastic pools, any new food or medicines, towels or other needed materials.
