Looking for Volunteers!

There are SO many projects at the shelter right now, and we’d love your help — whether that’s:

• Shelter animal enrichment
  • Playing with dogs & cats
  • Reading to them while they’re in their cages
  • Walking dogs
• Cleaning & weeding the play yards
• Building our outdoor ‘shade boxes’
• Providing transport for our shelter animals’ Rides to Rescue
• Volunteering at events:
  • Adoption Events in the Community
  • Non-profit booth at the County Fair & Rodeo
  • Petrified Pet Parade // Dia de los “Mutt”os
  • Santa Paws Pet Portraits
  • Other fundraising, adoption, or educational events in the community
• Providing foster care at your home for:
  • Pregnant or new mama dogs & their newborn litters
  • Bottle-feeding kittens
  • Medical cases
  • Shelter stress cases
• Even folding laundry is a HUGE help!
