Xena is our beloved cancer-surviving lovebug. Our board member, Sarah, adopted her and helped care for her (and pick her up from the shelter a time or two after Xena escaped) for many years. Xena holds a dear place in our hearts — she represented everything we strove for as the Friends group: the power of community, connecting people who care to save the lives of our shelter pets.
